FAQ

What is microblading?

Microblading is the artistic technique of tattooing individual hair strokes with a handheld tool called a microblade. Unlike traditional tattooing, which uses a machine, microblading artists hand draw each hair to match the color and coarseness of your eyebrows. The result? Gorgeous, natural looking eyebrows.

How long does it last?

Depending on the pigmentation of your skin but most microbladed eyebrows last 1 to 2 years for most people, before requires a touch up.

Is it a painful procedure?

We use a topical anesthetic before the procedure to numb the affected area so most past clients feel little or no pain.

How long is the procedure?
It generally will take 2-3 hours.  Majority of the time will be spent on consultation, shaping and finding the right color for you. The initial blading will take 45 minutes to an hour.
How much does it cost?
Contact us and receive a consultation and we can then determine the cost.  We offer a complementary touch up 4-8 weeks after your first procedure.
What is the healing time?
It generally takes up to 30 days to heal depending on your skin.  Your brows will be styling within the first week but you will need to avoid getting them wet or have any contact with make up or excessive sweat.  You will experience minor scabbing which is normal.
How do I care for my microbladed eye brows?
Stay indoor as much as you can to avoid direct contact with sunlight.  Avoid excessive moisture so your eyebrows can air dry..  Avoid any chemicals or make up as much as you can.  Mixing any type of other coloring can distort your original color so we ask our clients to avoid using any eye brow make up until it fully heals.  Apply A&D oitment twice a day.
Can I cover up old tattooed eye brows?
We will need you to send a photo first so we can determine how much work is needed.
Who does not qualify for this procedure?
To protect our safety of our staff and you we cannot perform this procedure if you are diagnosed with glaucoma, skin diseases such as Shingles, psoriasis or eczema on the area of treatment, allergies to makeup, Keloid disorder, HIV/Hepatitis, skin cancer, hemophilia, or if you’re taking skin medications like ro-accutaine and steroids.  If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to send us a message.
